Associate Director OCD and Trauma Program

Weekly outpatient therapy isnt always enough and a trip to the ER isnt the only answer. Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis every day wehelp people overcome depression anxiety suicidality obsessions/compulsions trauma chronic pain and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

Compass Health Center is seeking an Associate Directorfor our OCD & Trauma Programs at our Northbrook facility. The ideal candidatepossessesexpertiseingroup therapyas well as relevant experience working with individuals in recovery from trauma mood andanxiety disorders and OCD. This position will work in conjunction with the program Director as well asCompassCenter of Excellence Team to ensureappropriate supportoftheseprograms.

Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility and consists not only of our widest variety of programs but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings

What Youll Do:

• Collaborate with Program Director and Center of Excellence Team to supportprogramming

• Collaborate with Program Director to support cohesion and team building between the OCD & Complex Anxiety Program and Trauma Program

• Provide direct managerial oversight to up to ten staff memberswith focus beingmanagement ofgroup therapists.

• Facilitategrouptherapy multiple times a week.

• Provide individual therapy/case managementand/or family therapy to program patients as needed

• Coordinate care withpatientsoutside providers to ensure continuity of care as needed

• Communicate with patients family members or support systems as needed

• Assess patients progress and need for higher level of care or discharge

• Participate in community outreach

• Conduct intake evaluations of new patients and re-intake evaluations as needed

• Participate in interview and hiring process

• Assist Program Director with monthly team meetings

• Working with Senior Director and Program Director in implementation of Compass wide initiatives including Access to Care Optimal Outcomes Continuity & Excellence and Patient & Family Engagement

• Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with program team members and multidisciplinary treatment teams via rounds EMR notes emails and face-to-face communication

• Chart progress of patients in EMR

• Participate in professional development activities

• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• Masters level clinician with 5 years of post-masters clinical experience conducting intakes assessments individual family and group therapy

• Hold one of the following licenses: Ph.D. Psy.D. LCSW or LCPC

• Internal applicants must have experience successfully implementing organizational initiatives including Optimal Outcomes and Access to Care.

• Internal applicants must be Senior-level or above.

• Possess knowledge and experienceutilizingERP ACT DBT and CBT- among other effective and efficacious treatments tofacilitategroup therapy

• Have experience with patients in crisis

• Possess program development and implementation experience

• Possess experience supervising mental health workers who are licensed and/or seeking licensure)

• Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment
