The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking multiple certified related cervice provider to work in the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Key Responsibilities:
Review student IEPs to inform planning development of curriculum and preparation of ESY services.
Develop ESY classroom programming to maintain student abilities during the five week program as outlined in their IEP goals.
Coordinate and schedule related services with the providers ( Academics Speech Counseling Behavior OT PT Rules Based Reading) as needed during the ESY program.
Keep attendance for students and collect data as needed. (Summary reports of student performance will be completed at the end of the program.)
Communicate with parents.
Work collaboratively with the ESY staff ESY coordinator and other building personnel.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Educators will be assigned by the Director of Student Services or designee to sites that best meet the needs of the students and programming
Note: Job share opportunities may be available and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
ESY Program Overview
Students participate in the program from July 7 -August 6 2026 Monday - Thursday
ESY programs serve students aged 3-22
Orientation and Open House July 2 2026 8am - 12pm
Days & times of services:
Grades K-12: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
PreK: 8:30am - 11am or 9am - 11:30am
Staff start time is 8:15am
Educators will also be compensated for non teaching time as follows:
For Full-Time ESY Program: up to 30 hours
5 hours for Open House and Orientation
10 hours of pre program prep
15 hours of prep during onsite
For Part-Time ESY Program:
5 hours for Open House and Orientation
5 hours of pre program prep
Onsite prep will be relational to the number of days and length of days worked as assigned by the Director of Student Services or designee.
Compensation will be $40 per hour.
