Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Primary Care
We are seeking a locum family practice physician to join a dynamic primary care office located in Manasquan New Jersey. This practice is currently covering for maternity leave and offers a supportive environment with a dedicated team of 5 physicians and a mid-level provider. The schedule is from Monday to Friday with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM and extended hours on Tuesdays until 7 PM.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform required general procedures including EKG interpretation and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues.
- Conduct adult outpatient services and occupational medicine procedures such as employment physicals and disability exams.
- Utilize Athena EMR for timely and accurate documentation.
- Participate in patient care with an average of 3 patients per hour.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician preferred (will accept board eligible).
- Experience in primary care settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Prior experience in handling diverse patient populations is a plus.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active New Jersey State License (Required).
- Board Certification (Preferred).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (Preferred).
- Local provider status (Required).
