Job Summary

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Greets customers and provides a variety of customer services such as answering telephones providing initial customer contact.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate person or voice mail. Take messages if needed.
  2. Greet customer and direct to appropriate department or individual.
  3. May sort and deliver mail.
  4. May assist with clerical duties including filing computer input reporting.
  5. May assist with customer service issues.
  6. Regular and reliable attendance.
  7. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Skill in operating various office machines including switchboard adding machine copy machine etc.
  • Skill in communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.

Seeing: 75-100%
Must be able to greet customers read documents use computer
Hearing: 75-100%
Must be able to communicate with customers and co-workers
Standing/Walking: 25-49%
Must be able to visit customer
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0-24%
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0-24%
Fingering/ Grasping/Feeling: 75-100%
Must be able to use computer write
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Job involves sitting most of the time and if walking and standing required only occasionally.
