Job Summary
Unit Role: Army Reserve Light Cavalry Regiment. To prepare suitably trained equipped and motivated officers and soldiers for operations both overseas and in the UK in support of SCOTS DG and regular units as individuals and as contingents.
Position Role: The Regimental Administrative Warrant Officer (RAWO) is the professional lead for the routine delivery of unit personnel administration by the AGC(SPS) Detachment. They conduct the duties of the unit deputy Information Manager and support the training and career development of all AGC(SPS) personnel. Responsibilities: 1. Implement documentation and administration policy as directed by the RAO.
2. Supervision of the delivery of personnel administration for all SP including FTRS Regular & Reserve.
3. Management of the provision of staff and administration support to RHQ both in barracks and in the field.
4. Technical line management of all admin staff including civilians and SPS(R).
5. Lead for discipline administration in support of the Adjutant and CO.
6. Support to the RAO in preparation of the unit and unit personnel for mobilisation on operations.
7. Deputise as COM Account Operator in the absence of the FSA. Unit lead for all postal and courier services. 8. Personnel Vetting Records Officer (PVRO) Classified Custodian and the Digital Champion (LUMS) for SNIY.
