The Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.
We will provide you the grounds to succeed an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.
You Will: Key Responsibilities & Impact
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python Terraform Ansible and Bash to streamline deployment configuration and management of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate closely with development operations and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements create automation strategies and deploy efficient solutions.
- Utilize cloud technologies and services with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to architect and manage scalable secure and highly available infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues across development testing and production environments ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime
You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience of 2 years in Python programming with a focus on automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Live within commutable distance to Dallas Texas
The salary range for this role will be between $90000 - $110000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your location skills experience education and/or professional certifications.
