Primary Purpose: Instructs an assigned group of children grades K-5th in an academic based after school program.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: 1 year of college (education majors or related field preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to successfully work with children grades K-5th Availability to work Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30pm and some Saturdays Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Experience: Experience working with children or adults in a structured environment
Key Responsibilities:
Instructs an assigned group of children grades K-5th in social recreational enrichment and academic based activities.
Working Conditions: Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent district-wide and occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular standing stooping bending kneeling pushing and lifting up to 50 use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
