Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the quality of deliverables produced by the CAD/BIM team.
• Receive drafting and modeling tasks/ instructions from designers and assign them to the appropriate drafter or BIM modeler.
• Communicate instructions clearly and effectively ensuring all details are understood by drafters and BIM modelers.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Review and verify all drawings and models prior to client submission.
• Monitor progress and ensure all assigned tasks are completed within established timelines.
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system ensuring records are properly managed stored and retrievable.
• Lead weekly QC meetings and maintain daily QC reports to track issues resolutions and improvements.
• Conduct quality training to the team as needed.
• Enforce TYLin Quality Plans and Procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Experience in the production of structural design drawings is a must.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality control of drawings and BIM models.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD MicroStation BIM software Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in ProjectWise or similar cloud-based project collaboration platform is preferred.
• Must possess meticulous attention to detail and the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong understanding of production workflows drafting standards and quality criteria.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory design codes and industry standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
