About the role.
As the Sales Director for Food Service & Local QSR you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities for Central Europe. You will lead a team ensuring the achievement of sales targets and the successful implementation of sales strategies. Reporting directly to the Senior Sales Director for Food Service & Local QSR you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the food service industry.
This role could be based in: Poland Slovakia Hungary Czechia.
Tasks
What youll be doing.
Planning & prioritization
- Contribute to scope planning & budget/forecast
- Translate country plans into CE level execution plans
- Review objectives quarterly provide direction to teams to execute cascading plans
- Identify and align resources to achieve plans central local and global
Business knowledge
- Ensure deep understanding of market / customer trends and leverage industry peer network to inform strategic decision making
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of financial variables
Customer development
- Evolve org. to align with customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including local QSR chains restaurants hotels catering companies and other food service providers.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships to expand market presence and increase sales opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to promote products and services and build networks within the food service industry.
Key stakeholder collaboration
Recognize when and how to engage other departments in business decisions or selling process
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations and Product Development to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Driving results
- Inspire and engage team with vision and clear direction
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure targets are met resources are allocated
- Assess performance against objectives
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance market insights and client feedback to the Senior Sales Director.
People development
- Fosters trust and inclusion by listening first and showing humility
- Empowers our people through development coaching and recognition
- Conduct annual performance reviews talent reviews and career development exercises.
Requirements
What youll need to be successful.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the food service industry with a focus on local QSR
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to analyze market trends and develop results-driven sales strategies
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics within the food service industry is preferred
- Strong project and team management skills; able to balance multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills; proficient English is essential
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious targets
- Must be willing and able to travel within Central Europe and internationally as required.
