(Local candidates only as F2F Interview is must) Job Duties - Process incoming Public Records Requests and fulfill within allotted timeframe
- Research and analyze law sources including statutes recorded judicial decisions legal codes related to public records
- Learn and apply Indiana Code to APRA requests for determination of release or denial of records
- Process body and dash camera footage to ensure appropriate redactions are made per IC
- Review Indiana Code and Indiana Administrative Code to make proposals regarding potential language changes
- Coordinate assembly of documentation required as the result of subpoenas and discovery requests if needed
- Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents as needed
- Answer phones for Legal Office personnel
- Perform other duties as required
