Compensation: $115000 $140000
Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven Assistant Plant Engineer to support engineering and maintenance operations within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical expertise in maintenance systems capital project execution and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities - Lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support and execute capital projects
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and PLC issues
- Drive TPM and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and maintenance performance
- Supervise and schedule maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with safety food safety and environmental standards Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven experience managing maintenance operations and engineering projects
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
