Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Assistant Plant Engineer to support engineering and maintenance operations within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical expertise in maintenance systems capital project execution and plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Support and execute capital projects
Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and PLC issues
Drive TPM and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor KPIs and maintenance performance
Supervise and schedule maintenance team
Ensure compliance with safety food safety and environmental standards Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Proven experience managing maintenance operations and engineering projects
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
