Role: Lead Analytics Engineer Clickstream
Location: IL (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in clickstream analytics event instrumentation and digital journey tracking. This role focuses on designing scalable tracking solutions across web and app platforms building event schemas and enabling customer behavior insights through CDP and MarTech integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of clickstream and event tracking across digital platforms
- Design event schemas identity resolution and ensure data quality
- Enable funnel analysis conversion tracking and customer journey insights
- Integrate and activate audiences via CDPs (mParticle Mixpanel)
- Troubleshoot tracking SDK API and data issues
- Collaborate with product CX and analytics teams
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in clickstream analytics & event-based tracking
- Hands-on with event instrumentation & digital analytics implementation
- Experience with Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics
- CDP tools: mParticle Mixpanel
- Knowledge of SDKs tagging frameworks identity management
- Basic / PHP (Laravel) exposure to React
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP
Nice to Have:
- Retail or Food industry experience
- Paid media integrations (Meta Google TikTok DV360)
