Asset Management & End User Support Consultant

Location: Houston TX (CNP Tower)

Schedule: Onsite Monday Friday

Duration: 12 month contract

Interview process: 1 round via Teams

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst II to support end user hardware and software operations within the Technology Services organization. This role focuses heavily on asset management lifecycle budget and financial tracking and hands-on support for deployments and enhancements. The position is replacing a full-time employee who transitioned into another internal role.

You will collaborate closely with teams supporting asset management audiovisual (AV) services executive support and building enhancements working in a highly visible end-user focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT asset management including procurement tracking deployment and retirement
  • Support budget controls invoicing and purchase order processes
  • Maintain accurate asset records and reporting using ServiceNow SAP and Excel
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware/software deployments and asset enhancements
  • Assist with hypercare support and new end-user setups
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including asset management AV support and executive support
  • Generate reports related to asset tracking financials and inventory management
  • Occasionally provide in-person end-user support (approximately 20 25% of the role)

Team Environment

  • Join a 10-person team based in the CNP Tower
  • Strong collaboration across asset management and end-user support functions
  • Exposure to both operational and financial aspects of IT services

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with IT asset management and asset lifecycle processes
  • Understanding of the financial side of asset management including budgets and invoicing
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SAP
    • ServiceNow (asset tracking and reporting)
    • Microsoft Excel (reporting and data analysis)
  • Strong end-user support orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fully onsite fast-paced environment
