Job Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions that enhance and extend various system components or applications. The role requires engaging in the full development lifecycle from initial design through coding and testing ensuring that the solutions are scalable and meet the unique requirements of the business. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a key part of the day as is adapting to evolving project needs using contemporary development methodologies and frameworks to deliver efficient and effective software products. Roles & Responsibilities: Should have sound knowledge in Electrical 3D Systems Designer (ELG). Strong proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 Electrical modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Should build strong working relationships with engineering teams suppliers and vendors. BOM creation and maintain design documentation. Demonstrates strong technical expertise participates in design reviews and resolves issues efficiently. Plans and prioritize tasks within stipulated timeframes.
Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills:-Should have Sound Knowledge in workbenches such as o Should have Sound Knowledge in workbenches such as o Electrical 3D Systems Designero Electrical Part design o Electrical Harness Assembly o Electrical wire routingo Enovia PLM-Good-to-Have Skills:- Strong understanding of electronic components routing harnesses. Understanding of Electrical Harness Installation. Knowledge in harness components including connectors terminals clip. Knowledge of electronics systems packaging & integration clip connection clamps& protection component selection. Good knowledge in GD&T. Additional Information: 1) B.E or M-Tech in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering / Electrical Engineering.2) 4 to 6 years of hands-on development experience on the Dassault Syst mes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.3) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.4) Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.5) Prior exposure to manufacturing automotive aerospace or industrial equipment domains is a plus.6) This position is based at our Chennai office.7) A 15 years full time education is required.
