Key responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Crew Chief or a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer perform inspection(s) and assist with dismantling assembly repair and/or overhaul of aircraft systems and components on Company aircraft.
  • Develop an understanding of aircraft defect troubleshooting and the methods used to carry out corrective action.
  • Maintain Company aircraft in an airworthy condition by carrying out assigned maintenance tasks using approved maintenance data and procedures.
  • Identify and report defects or other issues that may affect the serviceability or operational status of aircraft.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Company policies standard practices and applicable Transport Canada regulations.
  • Perform duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety the safety of co-workers and customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required qualifications

  • All credentials listed below must be obtained and maintained as a condition of employment.
  • Graduate of an accredited Transport Canadaapproved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) program.
  • Transport Canada accreditation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
  • Valid Canadian-issued drivers license with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP).
  • Legal working authority in Canada.
  • English language fluency or working knowledge.


Preferred qualifications

  • Heavy aircraft maintenance experience.
