Position Overview:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily human resources operations including payroll preparation employee relations onboarding and licensing coordination. This position ensures timely and accurate payroll processing assists with new hire onboarding and compliance requirements and serves as a key point of contact for employee questions and concerns. The coordinator will collaborate closely with all departments to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.

Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and process employee payroll ensuring accuracy and timeliness for bi-weekly payroll runs
- Monitor and correct employee clock-ins and clock-outs to ensure accurate timekeeping
- Maintain close communication with Scheduling and management to verify hours and employment status changes
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly and accurately
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions concerns and HR-related issues
- Assist with onboarding new hires including completing new hire paperwork and system setup
- Coordinate employee licensing requirements including tracking guard cards renewals and compliance deadlines
- Schedule and assist with fingerprinting and background check processes
- Assist new employee orientation and training coordination
- Ensure HR and payroll records are accurate organized and compliant with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain and update HRIS/timekeeping systems
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll and HR administrative tasks
- Consistent follow-up and follow-through on assignments and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Adobe Suite and Sage HR
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Education/Other Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field strongly preferred
- 2 years of HR payroll or administrative experience strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS workforce management and payroll solutions required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic payroll/accounting principles
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

As the leading private security provider in the Northern Nevada area the ESI Security Services family has been assisting Northern Nevada and California for the past twenty years. Originally established as Events Services Inc. by owner Mike Hendi in 1989 the company had only a handful of employees and one company vehicle. Since its inception Events Services has grown to include over 450 employees a vast array of services and a fleet of over 50 company vehicles. ESI Security Services which started as the patrol division of Events Services Inc. has become its own company and has taken over all security aspects ranging from onsite security to patrol inspection services. Events Services Inc. now specializes in services such as ticket taking ushers and many other special event services.
