Devereux Arizonas Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides intensive 24-hour support for youth aged 7 to 17 who are experiencing serious emotional behavioral and mental health a structured therapeutic environment we combine clinical expertise with compassionate trauma-informed care to help youth heal grow and build a brighter future. The RTC features dormitories an accredited K-12 school food services 24/7 on-site nursing and specialized therapy and clinical services.
OVERNIGHT Direct Care Professionals (DCP) provide direct supervision and assist the day-to-day schedule for campus individuals. Direct support duties include: helping individuals with their mental health managing behaviors and emotional needs de-escalating crisis situations treatment plan implementation personal care (bathing dressing) medication management transport and fostering social skills. Other duties include documenting progress for daily weekly and monthly logs adhering to the activity schedule and attending weekly clinical supervision meetings. Direct care staff also assist with the planning and implementation of enrichment activities such as art projects music groups culinary arts various athletics (basketball soccer swimming) and adult-transition prep!
Pay Range: $19 - $20.90 / hr
Shift Differentials: $2/hr. 11:00pm-7:00am 7 days/wk.

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work or relevant field preferred
- Six (6) weeks of behavioral health work experience required
- OR Bachelors degree in the areas of psychology sociology social work education or other related field OR 12 years of related experience
- Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex post-traumatic stress disorder co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders
OTHER:
- Must be available to attend two (2) weeks of new hire orientation (paid Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) plus 2-3 weeks of on the job training

- Valid Arizona Drivers License & pass DMV 36-month history check
- Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).Arizona Revised Statutes Notice (ARS 36-411 Residential care institutions; nursing care institutions; home health agencies; fingerprinting requirements; exemptions; definitions). If a persons employment record contains a six-month or longer time frame during which the person was not employed by any employer a completed application with a new set of fingerprints shall be submitted to the department of public safety.
