Job Summary
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- The Electrical Designer will have 7-18 years of experience in electrical design for Oil & Gas Chemical Petrochemical & Power projects.
- Expertise in develop comprehensive electrical design deliverables including cable routing plans cable tray layouts substation GA (General Arrangement) drawings lighting layouts and lightning protection layouts ensuring accuracy safety and compliance with project standards and codes.

The Role
As a Electrical Designer Level II with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Ensure designs comply with project standards codes and safety requirements including IEC IEEE NEC and NEMA embedding reliability and cybersecurity considerations.
- Generate material take-offs and support procurement activities ensuring accuracy in quantities specifications and alignment with vendor requirements.
- Maintain drawing accuracy version control and documentation integrity applying digitization tools and standardized processes to ensure consistency across project deliverables.
- The Electrical Designer should be responsible for preparing detailed electrical layouts and drawings ensuring accuracy compliance and effective integration with other engineering disciplines.
- Prepare detailed electrical schematics wiring diagrams and equipment placement drawings for switchgears MCCs UPS transformers drives and related systems embedding protection and control philosophies into the design.
