Job Summary

yourtown is a trusted provider of services for young people with a focus on mental health and wellbeing long-term unemployment prevention of youth suicide child protection as well as support for those experiencing domestic and family violence.

We are seeking a Leading Hand for our site in will have some experience in either Horticulture Construction Landscaping or Fencing. You will be on the tools alongside our young people with a drive and desire to further develop your own knowledge and understanding of supporting young people in the work place.

your role will include:

Supervising trainees on simple construction projects
Ensure adherence to contract specifications and schedules
Promoting a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture

you will bring:

passion commitment and belief in young people
a relevant qualification or working towards one in either Horticulture Parks & Gardens Construction Landscaping Fencing or similar
demonstrated knowledge of WHS requirements
excellent communication skills to build relationships with our trainees and customers
current white card and first aid certificate or ability to obtain
