ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
onX is seeking a 6-month fixed-term Product Designer who will contribute to meaningful real-world outcomes that have a lasting impact for customers and the this role youll focus on design iterations and variations to Hunts and Offroads newest onboarding flows as part of the Growth team supporting the teams primary goal of increasing conversion by helping new users find value in the product. Youll take ownership of your work collaborate closely with partners across the organization and help move initiatives forward in an environment where priorities evolve learning is celebrated and youre encouraged to keep stretching your skills. This role will report to the Growth teams Product Design Manager.
WHAT YOULL DO
Essential Job Duties & Functions
- Collaborative design work alongside the teams PM and engineers
- Translate ideas and hypotheses into conceptual designs and prototypes
- Refinement of conceptual designs into full-system ready-for-dev designs
- Present designs to the team fellow Growth team designers and potentially stakeholders across the organization
- Look for opportunities to embed AI as a repeatable co-pilot in daily workflows by integrating experimentation into real work and continuously refining its use with sound judgment and validation.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Duration: This fixed-term position is expected to start immediately and last approximately 6 months.
- Weekly Hours: We anticipate this role will work 40 hours weekly.
- Assignment Completion Bonus: Upon the successful completion of your full assignment this position is eligible for an assignment completion bonus at the end of the contract.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction / UX or equivalent experience.
- Four (4) years of relevant experience required designing onboarding signup purchase or educational flows.
- A strong curiosity for exploring new technologies including AI
- A shared passion for and ability to demonstrate onXs Company Values.
- Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
- This position requires that a portfolio of work samples be submitted for consideration.
ADDED BONUSES

- Content design or UX copywriting expertise
- Graphic or illustration design experience
- Experience working with or on marketing or brand teams
- Experience establishing UX patterns principles or frameworks that influence how other teams design
- A clear and practical perspective on what makes AI-powered experiences feel trustworthy transparent or poorly executed

HOW YOULL BE COMPENSATED
onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position applicants can expect to make between $119000 and $140000 annually upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience skills certifications education and other factors as required in the job description.
