Job Summary

Are you passionate about working with children and creating a safe welcoming environment where they can thrive The Ocean Community YMCA is looking for caring reliable team members to support our campers through our before and after camp extended day program.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a team building relationships and making a positive impact in their community.

Schedule:

MondayFriday
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM 9:00 AM
Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM 6:00 PM
Part-time seasonal

What Youll Do:

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers before and after camp
Engage children in fun age-appropriate recreational activities
Create a welcoming inclusive environment where every camper feels they belong
Maintain accurate attendance and follow all camp policies and safety procedures
Communicate effectively with staff and leadership to support daily operations

What Were Looking For:

Experience working with children preferred
Positive patient and team-oriented mindset
Strong communication and decision-making skills
CPR/AED/First Aid certification-YMCA will train
Commitment to YMCA values: caring honesty respect and responsibility
