Your role
In the role ofLead Application Support Engineer with focus on Java-based applications you will be responsible for proactive identification of issues in production environment leveraging observability tools with the aim of reducing MTTD and will also provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding issue resolution and execution.
You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. You will be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Interfacing with technical and business stakeholders internal and external (Managers / Application owners Support Analysts Infrastructure Team Developers and technology specialists).
  • Managing and maintaining production environment.
  • Change management and application deployments.
  • Restore a normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimize the impact on business operations thus ensuring that the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained.
  • Coordinate all activities required to lead incident triage in compliance with SLAs and OLAs.
  • Facilitate the outage calls and ensure that all the required resources are engaged to work a Major Incident.
  • Preparing internal reports on Major incidents and leading their review with Executive Management.
  • SLA & KPI reporting
  • Onsite Offshore coordination.
  • Interfacing with technical and business stakeholders internal and external.
  • Configuration customization and integration of application.
  • Client interfacing and offshore coordination.
  • Available to be on-call and support production issues.

Required
  • At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Primary skill: Design develop test and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Java Spring boot MicroservicesHTML & JavaScript/jQuery Groovy XMLUbuntu 20. MariaDB 10.3 MSSQL
  • Application support and maintenance experience: L2/L3 support ITIL processes and ITSM tools Handling 24x7 operations critical incidentsMonitoring & observability tools Splunk
  • Experience and good understanding of IT SDLC lifecycle phases. Through understanding Agile principles and practices
  • Familiar with latest trends in industry from technology and domain standpoint
  • Creative innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
