Construction Site Laborer

We are looking for a reliable enthusiastic & hardworking laborer to join our construction team in order to assist in the preparation of sites installation of drainage utilities curbing etc.

Candidates should be detail oriented and display team spirit. The responsibilities of a Site Laborer include but are not limited to use of a laser level jackhammering sweeping shoveling raking compacting use of a demo saw & cleaning. Candidate should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions possible weekend work holiday or night work may be required.

Construction Site Laborer Responsibilities:

• Clears construction sites of debris hazardous materials and obstructions.
• Offloads service trucks and gathers tools for the day.
• Sets up and take down temporary traffic setup.
• Loads and unloads building materials and distribute them to appropriate locations on site.
• Holds or supplies tools and materials during construction activities.
• Shovels of materials as needed.
• Assists in layout of job site grades and lines.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Follows all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participates in safety briefings and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Construction Site Laborer Requirements:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to stand for extended hours of time
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Familiar with use of power and hand tools
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have a strong work ethic

Work Schedule

• Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
• Occasional Weekend/Night work available based on projects
• Most work done in the peak construction season of Spring thru Fall
• Overtime available and based on project schedule or needs

Compensation

• Paid weekly
• $36.00 per hour
