Thales has two engineering competence centres in India - one in Noida focused on Cyber & Digital business while the one in Bengaluru focuses on hardware software and systems engineering capabilities for both the civil and defence sectors serving global needs. The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.

Thales SMO is recruiting a developer to support its service growth especially IOT Security Manager solution platform bringing Trust in IoT eco-systems. Engineering team is located in Noida.

Currently we have an IOTSM solution based on Micro services Docker and orchestrated by Kubernetes and is deployed in Thales AWS Virtual Private Cloud. UIs based on angular or react technologies are also part of the solution.

The objective is implement a new serverless application with architecture based on AWS managed services.

As a developer you will work closely with colleagues (Product Line Architect Product Owner other developers integrators) to gather requirements design develop and integrate this architecture.

The candidate is required to have knowledge of event-driven architectures with

Core AWS Serverless:

Skills in AWS Lambda (triggers scaling layers)

AWS Fargate (serverless compute for containers)

Queuing services (AWS SNS/SQS)

DB: DynamoDB

API Gateway CloudFront

Orchestration tools like AWS Step Functions serverless application deployment

AWS IoT Core

Knowledge of AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model) or AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to automate resource deployment and/or Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

Knowledge of AWS IAM for implementing the principle of least privilege Amazon Cognito for user management

Knowledge of automation

DevOps & Monitoring: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. CodePipeline GitLab CI) and observability tools like Amazon CloudWatch AWS X-Ray and Datadog for troubleshooting

Good knowledge of development languages used for implementing Lambda functions: Python (JavaScript) Golang and Java
