A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA MANAGER AT THE 5* MUNICIPALHOTEL & SPA MGALLERY

Were seeking an exceptional Spa Manager to lead amulti-million-pound luxury spa operation within a prestigious 5* hotelenvironment. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone with strongcommercial acumen a passion for excellence and the ambition to continuouslyelevate performance guest experience and profitability.

Youll be a visible hands-on leader; drivingresults inspiring your team and setting the standard for a best-in-class spaoffering.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operationsand working closely with the Senior Leadership and HOD teams you will takefull ownership of the Spas performance and guest journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading from the front to deliver a world-class guest experience ensuring every visit is memorable seamless and reflective of true 5* luxury
  • Overseeing a high-value spa operation driving commercial performance through strategic planning revenue growth and cost control
  • Developing and executing a forward-thinking spa strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
  • Partnering with the Revenue team to analyse forecasts identify opportunities and maximise profitability.
  • You will work closely with the Marketing Manager ensuring spend is targeted effective and delivers strong ROI for the Spa.
  • Continuously reviewing and evolving the treatment menu to ensure the spa remains innovative competitive and industry-leading
  • Leading recruitment training and retention strategies to build a high-performing future-ready team
  • Overseeing daily operations including rota management service standards and quality assurance
  • Collaborating with the Spa Operations Supervisor to coach develop and inspire the spa team fostering a culture of growth and excellence
  • Taking ownership of financial performance including budgeting stock control and driving retail revenue
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards including responsibility for the pool plant operation.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience within a luxury spa or high-end hospitality environment
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue and managing P&L performance
  • Deep expertise in spa operations treatments and industry trends
  • Experience managing large diverse teams with a focus on engagement development and retention
  • A natural relationship builder able to connect with both guests and team members
  • Highly organised detail-oriented and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
  • A confident decision-maker with a positive solutions-focused approach
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional standards aligned with MGallery brand values
  • Ambitious driven and motivated to take an already successful operation to the next level
  • Level 3 NVQ in Beauty (Desirably Level 4).
  • Desirable to be Level 3 Pool Plant Trained.
