Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with expertise in vascular and echocardiography imaging. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple patient populations ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vascular ultrasound studies including arterial and venous exams
- Conduct echocardiograms:
- Adult Echo
- Contrast Echo
- Stress Echo (Treadmill)
- Perform general ultrasound exams (abdomen pelvis small parts)
- Conduct OB and fetal imaging including transvaginal studies
- Assist with breast and pediatric imaging
- Support diagnostic imaging for patients across all age groups (neonates to geriatrics)
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation
- Assist in training and precepting clinical staff as needed
Required Skills & Expertise
Core Competencies (Mandatory)
- Vascular Ultrasound (all major studies)
- Echocardiography (Adult Contrast Stress Echo)
- General Ultrasound (abdomen pelvis small parts)
- OB/Fetal and Transvaginal Ultrasound
Vascular Imaging Skills
- Carotid aorta arterial and venous studies
- Doppler and duplex imaging
- Upper and lower extremity vascular exams
- Renal artery duplex
General & Specialty Imaging
- Abdominal imaging (liver pancreas spleen gallbladder)
- Breast ultrasound
- Thyroid and superficial structures
- Pediatric imaging
OB/GYN Imaging
- 1st 2nd and 3rd trimester scans
- Fetal anatomy surveys
- Amniotic fluid index (AFI)
- Placenta previa evaluation
Equipment & Systems
- GE Ultrasound Machines
- PACS
- Epic (Charting System Required)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- One of the following:
- ARDMS
- ARDMS RVT
- CCI
- RDCS
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
- Travel experience not required

- May assist across departments as needed (flexibility expected; no routine floating)
