Finishes Foreman

Our client is one of Queenslands leading builder-developers with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential apartment projects and a strong pipeline of upcoming work. With record sales recently announced across their growing portfolio of high-end residential towers they continue to go from strength to strength.

They are seeking an experienced Finishes Foremen to join their site team on landmark residential project in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will take ownership of the finishes stage overseeing the performance of all finishing trades and coordinating works to achieve programme quality and cost objectives.

This is a hands-on role within a high-performing site team where you will play a key part in delivering exceptional finishes and ensuring a smooth high-quality project completion.

Day to Day duties:

• Drive programme outcomes through effective planning sequencing and proactive defect minimisation
• Coordinate all finishing trades and subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with stakeholders and project teams throughout the lifecycle
• Provide leadership guidance and support to site teams across all stages of construction
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and project standards
• Identify and resolve challenges to keep the project on track and running efficiently

Requirements:

• 3 years experience in a Finishing Foreman/Supervisory role
• QBCC Site Supervisors Licence
• Proven experience delivering high-quality finishes on large-scale multi-level projects
• Strong knowledge of building codes standards and methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in fast-paced environments
• Trade background in carpentry or similar highly regarded
