Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Sr Director Program Management located in Guadalajara North Campus.
Reporting to the VP Operations Sr Director Program Management role involves being responsible for developing corporate global and organizational policies and directing cross functional activities to deliver quality programs to external customers with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention to generate growth for the business.
What a typical day looks like:
- Work with Operations globally to ensure the appropriate Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer projects.
- Accountable for supporting the performance of Project team(s) and Project manager(s)
- Provide the necessary leadership and support to Project Managers to manage projects in line with project management processes and associated policies and procedures.
- Support the program teams globally by developing strategic plans goals and timelines and measuring operational performance cost and delivery results.
- Ensure collaborative cross-functional Project team(s) and Project manager(s) participation to effectively initiate plan execute monitor and control all phases of a project or subproject to ensure work efforts are executed on time within budget and according to stated requirements reliably and repeatedly.
- Oversee the definition tracking and governance of key operational KPIs (Safety Quality Delivery Cost Inventory Productivity) across sites ensuring alignment to business priorities.
- Ensure effective communication between cross-functional teams (Operations Supply Chain Quality Engineering and Finance) to execute customer programs reliably from planning through steady-state production.
- Implement innovative solutions to achieve best-in-class results emphasizing standard work operational discipline and continuous improvement.
- Drive cost and performance improvements through governance metrics project management and strong financial management (budgeting/forecasting variance analysis and cost-to-serve).
- Broad vision and expertise in customer requirements to innovate and authorize projects improving and/or extending the value proposition to existing customers linking them more firmly to Flex.
- Partner with Finance and site leadership to build operating plans budgets and forecasts; track performance vs. plan and drive corrective actions.
- Own governance for major investments (Capex): business cases prioritization approval workflow spend tracking and ROI/post-investment reviews; review site P&L drivers as needed.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English.
- Proven leadership in Operations/Program Management managing complex cross-functional teams across Operations Quality Supply Chain Engineering and Finance influencing at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business and financial acumen: understanding of P&L drivers budgeting/forecasting cost modeling and KPI-based performance management in a manufacturing/operations environment.
- Drive end-to-end execution of operational initiativesaligning scope timeline resources and financial targetsdriving decisions on trade-offs (cost capacity service) proactively managing risks and ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Strategic execution-focused mindset with strong communication skillsbalancing operational detail with long-term business vision.
