Job Summary:To ensure the safety and security of passengers staff and airport facilities by enforcing aviation security regulations monitoring restricted areas and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Security

1. Maintain security standards as per Company requirements
2. Ensure effective threat assessment and response capability.
3. Achieve department goals and follow up.
4. Perform duties as per the Security Programme.
5. Maintain performance standards and follow up with your shift.
6. Monitor continuously the Quality System and the level of conformance.
7. Secure quality levels.
8. Control theft and pilferage of company property.
9. Ensure implementation of AEP Guidelines issued by Airport Operator BCAS MOCA Govt of India.
10. Ensure effective assessment & proper scrutiny of AEP application and supporting documents before submission to regulatory authority for TAE/BAEP.
11. To maintain files and log sheets.
12. Give inputs for training requirements.
13. Updating of manuals and local procedures.
14. Ensure competent and qualified work force are deputed for duty.
15. Verify Invoices

Customer Service

1. Accepting reservation and issuance of tickets at airport ticketing counters.
2. Smile greet customers when they approach for checking or any query.
3. Checking of customers identity and checking them and their baggage for the flight correctly recording of all weights and items which are to be put into the aircraft.
4. Profiling of customers at checking brief them on DG regulations and security banned articles in checked or hand baggage.
5. Accept registered baggage and check if any visible damage and get LRT signed customer to be informed about the liability and charge excess baggage (in case of exceeding normal baggage allowance).
6. Announcement of boarding updating of FIDs attending queries of customers Reconciliation of checked in passengers at the boarding gates.
7. Coordinate for connecting customers their location and take advise / instruction from red cap duty manager if flight has to be delayed to accept them. Strict adherence to company policies ensure properly groomed at all times.
8. Not under influence of alcohol or banned substance.
9. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as laid down in the GOM.
10. Effective use of ramp equipment guiding blue collar teams for quick turnaround of aircraft.
11. Carry out gate boarding functions like zone wise boarding BGR and manual boarding in case of systems down.
12. Secure safe punctual handling of customers baggage crew as applicable by organizing and controlling the terminal operations.
13. Ensure all communication operational or administration are actioned promptly.
14. Responsible for reporting to the superiors occurrences events violations and acts that may affect safety security and company reputation.
15. Procedure is followed for the carriage of arms and ammunition HUM DGR etc.

Educational Qualification:

Minimum HSC Preferrred Graduate
