Aquila Service Finance InternJob Description
The intern will work under the supervision of the finance manager supporting the Service organization in Central Europe (named Aquilla region in GEHC). The internship covers several finance functions such as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Commercial Finance. You can expect to
learn about operational finance and the core financial areas of planning budgeting and forecasting while we help you develop leadership communication and critical thinking skills in a multicultural environment.
Our internship is for 6 to 12 months and start in July. It is based in Budapest Hungary.
Roles and responsibilities
Operate within a team setting and / or under guidance of your manager. Contribute to the activities of the assigned finance teams such as account reconciliations data visualization process simplification profit & loss analysis and business planning.
Communicate with colleagues articulate technical information clearly and partner with non-finance teams and leaders (e.g. commercial operations R&D legal) to achieve business priorities.
Develop an understanding of key business drivers to inform your work gain insights into how your teams efforts integrate with other teams and contribute to broader objectives.
Engage in a diverse range of projects and assignments to cultivate leadership skills business acumen and technical expertise.
Learn to use different enterprise resource planning and business intelligence software.
Required Qualifications and Desired Characteristics
Carries themselves with a positive attitude a team player and able to deliver expected results on time
Confident self-motivated able to demonstrate initiative and work with limited supervision when needed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills highly numerate with a good attention to detail
Confident in both oral and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and main Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in English
Taking a placement year as part of a curriculum leading to a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited university college or school
Must have unlimited authorization to work in hiring country. GE Healthcare does not sponsor visas for internships
