Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus Identifies develops and typically closes new sales opportunities Creates demand for the organizations products and services by raising their profile with customers Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customers senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organizations product/service strategies Responsibilities are within the Account/Relationship Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

GENERAL SCOPE

Manages an assigned account or group of accounts with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers.A Sales Service Professionals sole focus is to maintain revenue price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

Normally top-level jobs requiring considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Independently performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Researches assignments processes and analyzes data and may develop recommendations. Competently uses computers and other systems to access maintain and manipulate data. May provide leadership direction to lower level technical or production positions may determine methods operations sequences; develops and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements.

IMPACT

Impact may affect work of others and potentially if not caught at section level. Contributes to and supports the completion of major organization activity. Erroneous work would have negative impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Daily Management of the safety quality delivery and inventory of applications at a large key customer
  • Support and perform standard work as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs generate weekly and monthly reports maintain inventory order materials equipment uptime
  • Perform data analysis on program performance.
  • Assists with customer technical issues brings any issues to the customers attention and work with area and district managers to put together a plan for corrective action.
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Pursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value.
  • Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred)
  • 5 years of experience working in a paper mill and/or chemical sales.
  • Strong communication interpersonal customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to build client relationships easily
  • Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills
  • Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
  • High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolio
  • Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Travel to our customer paper mill sites

The expected compensation range for this position is between $88850.00 and $130317.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills experience and other factors permitted by law.
