Key Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the Quality EHS and Risk strategy aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Act as the final decision authority on all quality and risk-related matters.
- Establish maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System aligned with IATF 16949 ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and Excellence System requirements.
- Lead quality targets continuous improvement initiatives and product safety programs.
- Ensure full compliance with health safety environmental and energy regulations driving a strong safety culture across the plant.
- Identify assess prioritize and manage operational and enterprise risks.
- Lead audits corrective and preventive actions and regulatory compliance activities.
- Analyze and interpret quality EHS and operational data to drive decision-making.
- Build lead coach and develop Quality and EHS teams (including Quality Engineers and EHS Specialists).
- Engage internal and external stakeholders including customers and regulatory authorities.
- Manage department budgets and report variances to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments preferably automotive or highly regulated industries.
- Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and Quality Excellence Systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in Quality EHS and Risk Management.
- Experience leading audits managing compliance and driving systemic corrective actions.
- Ability to work independently make sound decisions and provide technical guidance to others.
- Strong data analysis problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build organizations processes and systems from the ground up.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
