SAP Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

The SAP project manager will be responsible for aspects of

• Project planningexecution and monitoring
• Developing detailed plans including scope objectives timelines and resource management
• Workstream packages delivered in line with scope .
• Understanding programme interdepencies and ensure plans reflect the worksteams.
• Ensure workstream structures are set up for success and metrics on progress in place.
• Proactively manages risks and issues arising from their project workstreams..
• Keeping all relevant stakeholders up to date of progress.
• Managing third-party contributions (near and offshore) to the programme and quality of the delivery.
• Ensure transition from old to new minimises operational disruption.
• Reporting progress of their workstreams at regular intervals to the PMO Lead

Key Result Areas:

• Workstream/Country Solution Design and configuration delivered to specification
• Workstream/Country Application testing delivered to through all test phases
• Workstream/Country Extensions and Integrations delivered to specification
• Interdepencies identified and adherence to Adopt not Adapt principles.
• Support of Cutover management of the solution to live state.

Relevant and Quantifiable Measures:

Delivery of agreed workstreams/countries to plan quality and budget

• Strong influencing skills and ability to provide thought leadership and technical expertise
• Ability to promote team working and collaboration facilitating the measurement of performance by KPIs is highly desired
• Communication communicates at all levels clearly listens and involves others in direction and goal setting. Can explain technical concepts in a non technical manner
• Analytical rigor and solid process management approach to work is essential with a high level of detail
• A customer focused approach positive attitude in working with all business functions

Technical Competencies & Qualifications:

• SAP S/4 HANA experience ideally gained in a Manufacturing/FMCG environment
• Proven track record in delivering complex workpackages
• Experience in managing cross functional teams and key stakeholders
• Significant understanding of appropriate frameworks to support a successful ERP deployment ( e.g. SAP Activate BPML/EML management )
• Business Process consulting
• Experience of delivering complex projects in a diverse system landscape
• Programme/Project Management methodologies to support delivery
