Global Travel Underwriter

Job Description

Our client an insurance company is looking for a Global Travel Underwriter for a position in an international environment contributing to the commercial success of a dynamic team.

He/she will contribute to the development and management of the profitability of the companys international portfolio and will be responsible for the following tasks:

Pricing international insurance tenders and improving underwriting and pricing processes across multiple P&C lines.

Developing and enhancing actuarial models (GLM and advanced techniques) to support risk assessment and decision-making.

Structuring the pricing process and performing underwriting analysis for P&C lines of business (Auto Travel Home & Family and Health).

Monitoring and steering portfolio profitability through data analysis reporting and pricing adjustments.

Collaborating with data sales and international teams and contributing to group-wide initiatives on pricing optimization standardization and performance improvement.

Industrializing technical monitoring and reporting (frequencies average costs etc.) including automation of profitability dashboards. He/she will be in contact with Holding (General Management Global Sales team Data team Actuarial team) local entities (Sales team Technical team) and an Irish branch responsible for carrying the insurance risk for the international business

Profil

Bachelors degree in actuarial science mathematics or related field

510 years experience in property & casualty insurance underwriting

Strong technical background in actuarial science or insurance

Good level of English (Group working language)

Strong skills in R Python or other statistical tools

Organized and autonomous able to manage multiple topics simultaneously

Strong analytical and synthesis abilities

Ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences

Proactive curious and relationship-oriented mindset

Comfortable working in an international and collaborative environment
