American Stone is looking to hire a full-time Yard Hand to help with our projects and provide excellent customer service. Are you an efficient worker with a can-do attitude Would you like to learn more about the masonry or landscaping trade

We are looking for a dependable hard-working individual with a positive attitude who enjoys hands-on work working outdoors and being part of a team-driven environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role supports daily yard operations and customer service activities and requires physical stamina attention to safety and a willingness to learn.

Your Job Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Load customer vehicles delivery trucks and company vehicles safely and efficiently
• Stack organize and move stone pallets and materials throughout the yard
• Operate yard equipment such as forklifts loaders and tractors once properly trained
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard storage areas and workspaces
• Cut stone using saws and other tools as needed
• Follow safety procedures and operate equipment according to training and company standards
• Assist co-workers and supervisors with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including lifting heavy materials standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Prior experience operating forklifts or loaders is preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic reliability and willingness to learn
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Schedule

The schedule is negotiable but generally falls within standard business hours.
