The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (Level M) to join and lead the Avionics Mechanical Subsystems and Propulsion Program Team in San Antonio TX! The leader will be a key member of the VC-25B Systems and Product Support Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position along with the ability to build strong relationships collaborate in a cross-functional environment and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional multi-site IPT for development integration production and test for flight deck avionics airstairs cargo baggage loader airstairs engineers and auxiliary power units.
- Serve as primary integrator from engineering through fabrication production and test
- Be a key LT member in Systems and Product Support IPT
- Represent Boeing as primary interface to USAF stakeholders for this work scope
- Manage performance and engineering challenges across a dispersed supply base
- Quickly disposition and respond to production build challenges
- Plan for and execute contracted activities for entry into service
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- 3 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- 5 years of experience in a role that required detailed knowledge of systems engineering principles to solve engineering problems create process-driven documentation write and derive formal requirements manage project requirements and produce task schedules
- Strong communication problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a product production environment
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Experience working with Military or DoD customers
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for $204000 - $276000
