| Job Description: | The AYA Program Assistant provides administrative operational and programmatic support to the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Program at UF Health under the direction of the Medical Director and Executive Administrators. Key priorities include AYA program meetings ordering and purchases of program infrastructure needs supporting reporting activities interdisciplinary outreach data and research collection and maintenance supporting educational and advocacy activities and event planning. This role is central to achieving the programs goals of improving patient care expanding access to resources and strengthening the national knowledge base for AYAs with cancer. Program operations and administrative support - Provide logistical and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the AYA Program. - Support all aspects of program activities (scheduling materials communications) including meetings events educational seminars and support groups. - Prepare and maintain program reports spreadsheets and expense documentation; assist with processing financial documents related to program operations. - Support data collection and tracking for AYA clinical metrics program evaluation and research projects. - Assist with preparation formatting and submission of reports abstracts and grant related materials. - Identify and coordinate new grant and endowment opportunities to expand and sustain the AYA Program.
Data collection coordination and program support not managing the data; data coordination and program support - Maintain internal databases for tracking outcomes patient participation and research data; generate routine reports as needed. - Collaborate with communications teams to create marketing and promotional materials including newsletters press releases and digital content. - Serve as a point of contact for coordination with internal departments faculty external vendors and community partners - Support monitoring of program timelines and ensure compliance with institutional and grant related requirements - Assist with onboarding coordination and task delegation for student assistants or trainees as appropriate - Contribute to program development by collating and maintaining data.. - Collaborate with leadership to review data and prepare data for presentation and review. |
