Are you passionate about creating user-centred digital experiences Do you have a strong background in User Experience (UX) research and design as well as User Interface (UI) design If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the University of Newcastle as a UX Designer.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and enhancing the overall user experience across the University of Newcastle.
- Conducting workshops with internal stakeholders and product users to gather user requirements and inform the design process.
- Performing qualitative and quantitative UX research utilising methods such as user interviews user studies questionnaires focus groups and web analytics analysis.
- Translating customer and business insights into memorable digital experiences solving complex design problems.
- Leading the development and continual evolution of our Design Language System.
- Creatively interpreting UX research results into wireframes mock-ups journeys maps interactive prototypes and information architectures.
- Testing iterating and gathering feedback on UX/UI designs.
- Collaborating on A/B tests to improve user experience.
This Continuing position is full time at a HEW 7 Higher Education Level and will be based at Callaghan Campus.
