This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career within finance gaining handson experience across management accounting reporting controls and performance analysis with development towards a fully qualified into the Senior Finance Team the Management Accountant supports the A2R team by delivering accurate transactional accounting contributing to monthend processes and producing insightful analysis to support senior finance colleagues and is a great opportunity to build strong foundations in management accounting while working within a collaborative and supportive finance you will be senior management accountants and finance managers with reporting and financial analysisAssist in preparing financial information for senior stakeholders and budget holdersRespond to finance queries escalating issues where appropriateLearn and apply best practice in financial reporting and financial controlPost journals including accruals prepayments and corrections (under supervision)Assist with reviewing income and expenditure transactions for accuracy and correct codingMaintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentationSupport monthend close processes ensuring deadlines are met accurately and on timeAssist in the preparation of monthly management accountsCarry out variance analysis helping to investigate differences between actuals and budgetsSupport the production of reports and data packs for internal reviewWork alongside senior team members to understand financial performance and key business driversHelp track performance against budgets and identify variancesAbout towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA ACCA ACA or equivalent)Some experience in a finance or accounting roleStrong attention to detail and a desire to learnGood Excel skills and confidence working with numbersClear communication skills and a collaborative working styleSo why Parkdean ResortsWell besides the one-of-a-kind team culture stunning locations across the UK and the chance to work with the UKs largest holiday park organisation we can offer:The chance to develop your skills and boost your career across our 65 parks weve got your back when it comes to training!Youre never on your own with our Employee Assistance Programme!
