The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Associate Staff FrontEnd Engineer with deep expertise in Angular and cloudnative SaaS application development on Azure. This role is focused on handson technical execution solving complex frontend engineering problems and owning critical parts of a largescale Angular SaaS codebase.
The expectation is sustained highimpact technical contribution through code architecture debugging and system design.
What Youll Work On:
Angular SaaS Application Engineering
- Design develop and maintain largescale Angular SaaS applications deployed on Azure
- Implement complex highimpact UI features including:
- Datadense views and dashboards
- Multistep workflows and advanced forms
- Configurationdriven and featureflagged UI behavior
- Own technically complex areas of the frontend codebase where correctness performance and maintainability are critical
- Write clean testable scalable Angular code using modern Angular APIs (standalone components signals RxJS)
- Refactor and modernize existing Angular code to improve performance readability and longterm sustainability
CloudNative FrontEnd Development (Azure)
- Build and maintain Angular applications hosted on:
- Azure Static Web Apps and/or Azure App Service
- Implement frontend authentication and authorization using:
- Azure AD (Entra ID) for enterprise SaaS scenarios
- Azure AD B2C for customerfacing applications
- Integrate Angular applications with backend APIs via:
- Azure API Management
- Azure Functions or other Azurehosted services
- Consume and manage cloudnative configuration and secrets using:
- Azure App Configuration
- Azure Key Vault
FrontEnd Performance Scale & Reliability
- Optimize Angular applications for:
- Initial load time and bundle size
- Lazy loading and rendering efficiency
- Runtime performance under SaaSscale usage
- Identify and resolve complex clientside bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Implement clientside telemetry using Azure Application Insights to track:
- Errors and exceptions
- Performance metrics
- User interaction and behavior
- Use production data to guide performance and reliability improvements
Associate StaffLevel Technical Ownership
- Own and deliver technically difficult frontend work that requires deep Angular and cloud understanding
- Make sound technical decisions within assigned areas of ownership
- Handle ambiguous or underspecified technical problems independently
- Deliver solutions that remain correct and maintainable across multiple releases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- 68 years of professional software engineering experience
- 3 years of deep handson Angular development in production environments
- Strong experience building cloudhosted SaaS frontend applications preferably on Azure
- Expertlevel knowledge of:
- Angular TypeScript RxJS
- SPA architecture state management and performance optimization
- Handson experience with Azure frontend services:
- Static Web Apps or App Service
- Azure AD / Azure AD B2C
- Azure API Management and Azure Functions
- Azure Application Insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines Git workflows and automated testing
- Masters degree
