Associate Director Brand Engagementis accountable for the performance ofUS Patient Supportpatient and providersupportprogram design and implementation ensuring the program operations meet brand requirements and serve as the liaison between brandmarketingAccess Strategycross-functional partnersand theUS Patient Supportteam. A key responsibility of this role is to ensure the program teams have a clear understanding of brand goals and that services offerings enhance healthcare provider and patient access to AstraZeneca specialty care brands and evolve over time as market conditions evolve. This position has multi-faceted responsibilities with various contact pointsinternalandexternalto the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures deep understanding of brand strategy competitive landscape including competitor service mix technology offerings and patient and provider challenges andexpectations
Provideconsultative insights on channel and services strategy best practices and how AZ programs will differentiate the company in the market sharing learnings from other brands and therapeuticareas
Serve asUS Patient Supportlead on cross-functional launch teams for new drug launches or label expansions ensuring affordability field reimbursement Access 360 and Information Center considerations are represented and communicated back to the respectiveteams
Accountable for ensuring brand andUS Patient Supportmarketing asset portfolio is comprehensive delivers outstanding customer experience and meets brandsgoals
Develop program and services training plan forUS Patient Supportincluding AZIC Access 360 FRM and launch meeting sales track and Market Accesstrack
Accountable for development ofUS Patient Supportbrand reporting library including gaining alignment on standard reports as well as services and access and coverage trendanalysis
Accountable for program processes and program specific procedures aligned to brand servicestrategy
Lead internal functional groups (Operations Training and Quality department Sales OperationsBusiness Solutions among others) and Market Access stakeholders to effectively deliver service improvements and brandinitiatives
Accountable for defining program performance metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) brandexpectationsand goals tocross-functionalteams
Monitor program adherence to the SLAs and KPIs andidentifyprocess gaps and improvements that build efficiency and deliver a better customerexperience
Collaborate with Field Reimbursement Leadership Team andidentifyand implement process improvements that lead to greater patient and providersatisfaction
Monitor brand forecasted volume to adjust internal forecasts and communicate changes toappropriate parties. Collaborate with AZ brands tomonitorvolume trends and track programbudgets
Participate in account review/strategic planning exercises with theUS Patient Supportsenior leaders.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelors Degree in Healthcareor related field
5 yearsrelevantexperience with progressive responsibilities
Deep understanding of patient and provider support program strategies and tactics
Demonstrated capability to successfully collaborate with brand teams to launchnew brandsor expandedindications
Experience managingpatient accessimplementation projects such asasset developmentdataexchangesand reportingworkshops
Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear messages to all levels withinAstraZeneca
Demonstrated ability to effectivelyestablishand maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of theorganization
Demonstrated analysis andproblem solvingskills using innovative thinking
Experience working with and negotiating with externalvendors
Exhibitsstrategic thinking takes a consultative approach
Project managementproficiencies and comfort with building structure
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work from multiple stakeholders and channels in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Healthcarerelated field or Business Management
