What Youll Do
As a Mechanical Designer at Peter Basso Associates youll join project teams working with top architects contractors and facility owners across diverse markets - education healthcare research institutional multi-family and mixed-use. Youll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following experience qualifications or education:

• Associates degree or studies toward a Bachelors degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related curriculum from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years experience designing commercial building systems.

• Passed the Fundamental of Engineering exam PE preferred.
• Ability to work together with the project manager discipline lead engineer and all team members on assigned engineering tasks assuring technical expectations schedule and manpower budgets are met.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of all design disciplines aspects of coordination and impact on the project.
• Ability to manage time effectively prioritize deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively
• Team-oriented decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
