About the role:

As an FP&A Analyst youll act as a key finance partner to Operationsowning critical forecasting processes improving reporting accuracy and delivering insights that drive performance.

Youll work across multiple cost areas and geographies helping the business understand its cost base evaluate opportunities and optimise efficiency as we scale.

What youll be doing

• Preparation of timely and reliable weekly trade reports for senior stakeholders across the business on performance across sales margin and other KPIs. Focusing on actionable insights analysis and commentary.

• Preparation of monthly board reporting packs working cross functionally to bring together performance metrics from across the of operating costs forecasting and month end reconciliation.

• Maintenance of monthly trackers for review with budget holders.

• Conducting variance analysis to understand deviations from forecast. Working with the accounting team to validate month end postings. Communicate risks and ops to senior leadership.

• Run financial projections for new potential capital projects. Working with operations growth and the wider finance team to build accurate forecasts
• Ownership of Capex forecasting.
• Ownership of post investment analysis to review performance and spend vs target of Capex projects.
• Work with the accounting team on development costs capitalisation.
• Work with senior FP&A analyst to produce departmental P&Ls for operations leadership team for end to end performance review monthly.
• Develop a deep understanding of key P&L drivers and assumptions enabling proactive performance analysis and challenge.
• Support the evaluation of commercial opportunities and risks leveraging data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
• Assist in enhancing financial models and analytical tools to improve forecasting accuracy and business planning.
• Provide ad hoc support to senior managers and FP&A Director as required.

Who you are:

• 1 years working in a commercial finance or consulting environment.
• Part qualified preferred (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong data literacy and manipulation skills comfortable working with large data sets.
• Proven track record of cross functional collaboration and project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability in forecasting and quantitative problem-solving.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and self-motivated to deliver autonomously.
• Relevant experience of working with an online D2C business model preferred.
• Capable data analyst with a commercial mindset.
• Effective communicator with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Good functional understanding of financial and BI systems and tools.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Detail oriented.
