Position Summary:
Involved with registration collection processing and quality control of specimens receives and instructs patients processes lab orders and distributes laboratory reports.
Status: Casual/PRN
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy training certification preferred.
- Experience preferred.
- Proficient use of computers.
What you will do:
- Collect blood samples from patients.
- Accurately identify lab transfer and process specimens.
- Receives and instructs patients nurses staff physicians doctors offices regarding proper collection of specimens and laboratory reports procedures and other lab information.
- Receives and instructs patients interprets physicians orders enters orders into lab computer system and schedules appointments.
