Job Summary
The P4 Microsoft 365 and Email Engineerservesas thetechnical leadfor the M365 and email engineering team. This role requiresdeep expertise in Microsoft 365 services includingExchange Onlineandon-premises Exchange environments as well as advanced knowledge of email systems and related technologies. The individual will providestrategic technical guidance lead complex initiatives and deliverdaily coaching and supportto junior engineers. This position is critical for ensuring the stability scalability and security of enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms.
Responsibilities
Act as thede facto technical leadfor the M365 and email engineering team.
Define and drivetechnical strategyfor Microsoft 365 and email platforms ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Provideexpert-level supportfor Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and related components.
Manage and maintainon-premises Exchange environments including hybrid configurations.
Leadcomplex troubleshooting and root cause analysisfor messaging and collaboration issues.
Mentor and coach junior engineers fostering technical growth and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implementsecure scalable solutions.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
Demonstrate leadership competenciesby influencing technical decisions fostering collaboration and driving accountability across the team.
Additional Requirements
Typically requires7years of professional experience andexpert levelproficiency with tools systems and procedures required to accomplish the job.
Bachelors degree applicable certification or equivalent experience.
Experience leading technical teams and providingmentorship and guidance.
Extensiveskills andexperiencewith Microsoft 365 administration and engineering including Exchange Online and hybrid deployments.
Advanced skills troubleshooting and resolving complexmail flowand 3rdparty app integrations.
Proven ability todesign and implement technical strategiesfor enterprise messaging systems.
Proficient withPowerShelland MS Graphscripting automation and configuration management.
Expert level knowledgeofsecurity best practicesfor email and collaboration platforms.
Strong understanding and knowledge of Active Directory and Entra identity (Groups Users Security roles etc.)
Experience administeringMicrosoft Intunea plus but not required
Travel: None
Work Schedule:IST overlap with PST hours (M-F 12:30-9:30pm IST) plus rotating 24x7 on-call
