Key Highlights:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients including history-taking mental status exams and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose a wide range of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders anxiety psychosis and addiction-related disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team focusing on pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
• In collaboration with the consulting provider provide medication recommendations and ongoing medication management monitor therapeutic response and side effects and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings providing input on patient care and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists social workers nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Support patients and families with education on psychiatric conditions medication regimens and recovery strategies.
• Provide ongoing management of patients ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and follow-up.

Qualifications:

• AMastersdegreefrom an accredited Nurse Practitionerprogram
• Certification: Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required.

• Eligible or current Massachusetts licensewith national certification (ANCC AANP NCCPA as applicable)

• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration arerequired.
