HSE Lead

As an HSE Lead at Flint you will leverage your deep understanding of OHS regulations to promote a safety-focused culture among employees and subcontractors ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and providing technical expertise in environment health and safety.

What would you be doing

• Promote health safety and environmental (HSE) practices among employees and subcontractors.
• Provide technical expertise and support for HSE training and development.
• Manage WCB in partnership with Human Resources.
• Assist management with incident investigations and reporting. Ensure cause and corrective actions are implemented.
• Advise on compliance related to OHS and company standards.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial setting with a focus on safety coordination and compliance.
• Education in occupational health and safety environmental science engineering or a related field as well as specialized certifications and Journeyperson certificates are considered assets. 
• NCSO designation with Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) certification considered an asset.
• Knowledge and experience with HSE Management Systems and audit tools including Alberta Partnerships Certificate of Recognition (COR).
• Ability to lead a team of HSE Advisors effectively.
• Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
