Job Summary
Position Overview:
Join a warehouse team in an electronics recycling environment. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to process and sort recyclable materials. Its a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for a pay increase and benefits once hired full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle and sort electronic and recyclable materials
- Separate items such as motherboard components wiring plastics aluminum CPUs memory boards and server parts
- Transport materials throughout the facility
- Operate a forklift when needed
- Scan or log incoming materials using tablets (as required)
- Learn to identify different material categories over time
- Use hand tools and depending on the assignment some power tools
Requirements:
- Experience using hand tools
- Steel-toe boots required
- Strong manual dexterity and comfort handling small tools (e.g. screwdrivers)
- Ability to perform repetitive sorting and disassembly tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors as needed
- Awareness of warehouse safety practices including working around forklift traffic
Pay & Schedule Details:
- $18 per hour (paid weekly)
- MondayFriday schedule
- 30-minute lunch break
- Two 15-minute breaks
