Description
Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18 years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As a Nursing Assistant you will provide quality care to 6-9 patients a day. The job duties and responsibilities include:
Maintain communication by informing the nurse in charge of significant changes in a patients status.
Provide all necessary direct services to patients which include but are not limited to giving scheduled showers/baths water pass and nourishment passing trays and assisting with feeding as needed recording food and fluid intake and output assisting with patient personal laundry rounding on patients regularly charting completing room set-up for new patient admission etc.
Answering calls lights promptly
Stocking Supplies accordingly (gloves blankets etc.).
Performs other duties as assigned.
FTE: 0.0
Work Schedule: Per Diem
Salary: Starting rate at $20.59/hour. Pay rate is based off previous nursing assistant work experience.
Required Qualifications:
Must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and must maintain current certification.
Completion of a Nursing Assistant Course
