The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery within the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) program. This role operates within a complex Defence environment driving sustainment and capability outcomes across critical systems.

The GWEO portfolio plays a critical role in supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF) by delivering and sustaining guided weapons capabilities that enhance national security and operational readiness. The program works closely with Defence stakeholders and industry partners to ensure capability is delivered efficiently and aligned to strategic priorities.

You will play a key role in coordinating project activities managing stakeholders and ensuring delivery aligns with scope schedule and budget requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with Defence procurement frameworks particularly ASDEFCON
• Strong commercial management skills including planning and coordination
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Sound understanding of legal regulatory and industry standards
• Proficiency in commercial management tools and systems
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management Engineering Business or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:
